This past Valentine’s Day, Camp Bow Wow of Montgomery celebrated its opening with a “Mutts Be Love” dog adoption event. The event ran from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and featured a local pet adoption and dog kissing booth, appropriately named “Smooch A Pooch.”

Guests and their furry friends were also treated to family activities, live music, a tour of the Camp, and plenty of tasty treats from local vendors.
Because we believe no dog should ever be alone on Valentine’s Day, the main goal of the event was to find fur-ever homes for dogs currently living in the Montgomery Humane Society, the Humane Society of Elmore County, and the Lake Martin Animal Sanctuary.

The Montgomery Camp, which officially opened in December of 2019, is a dream come true for entrepreneurs Lauren and Jeff Gold.
