How many locations do you have?
We currently have over 200 open locations in the United States and one in Canada.
Where can I build a Camp?

Do you offer development opportunities outside of the United States?

How much does it cost to get started?
The startup investment for a Camp Bow Wow franchise is all inclusive and ranged from $1,054,000 to $1,719,500* in 2023 as detailed in the most current FDD. Startup costs depend on a variety of factors including the size of your facility, construction costs and your local market and may be lower or higher than the range from 2023 shared above.
What does the franchise fee cover?
The franchise fee is the fee for joining our franchise community and includes:
- Securing the available territory of your choice for your development
- The franchise’s support to get your Camp up and running, including, but not limited to:
- Site selection process
- Construction and equipment process
- Marketing support for grand opening and after opening
- Operations support and training
Do you offer special discounts for Veterans?
We are a member of the International Franchise Association (“IFA”) and participate in the IFA’s VetFran Program. We offer a reduced initial franchise fee of $25,000, a 50% discount, to veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces who meet the requirements of the VetFran Program. We offer a reduced initial franchise fee of $25,000, a 50% discount, to first responders. A first responder is a person with specialized training who is among the first to arrive and provide assistance at the scene of an emergency, such as an accident, natural disaster, or other catastrophic events. First responders include paramedics, emergency medical technicians, police officers, sheriffs, and firefighters (“First Responder”). We will determine if an individual qualifies as a First Responder.
Do you have offerings or incentives on any additional discounts?
We currently offer the following “Incentive Program” to qualified franchisees. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue this Incentive Program at any time, with or without notice:
Franchisees who meet the following criteria are eligible for the 2024 Incentive Program:
- Sign a current Franchise Agreement for a new territory by December 31, 2024;
- Meet the Premises Deadline as that term is defined in their Franchise Agreement by the stated deadline, without extension;
- Open by the Operations Deadline, as that term is defined in their Franchise Agreement by the stated deadline, without extension; and,
- Remain in good standing under their Franchise Agreement and any other agreement(s) with CBW at all times.
Eligible franchisees who achieve these opening milestones shall be entitled to:
- A 50% reduction in Royalty Fee rate (as defined in the Franchise Agreement and in Item 6) for the first twelve (12) months of operations;
- A waiver of the Minimum Monthly Royalty during the first twelve (12) months of operations;
- and,
- A one-time $5,000 credit towards the Project Management Fee.
This Incentive Program does not apply to Franchise Agreements signed in 2024 in connection with a franchise renewal, resale, transfer, or relocation of a Camp.
What experience do I need?
No previous business experience is necessary to become a CBW Franchise Owner. However, an aptitude for following processes and procedures, great customer service skills, and a passion for dogs are all great assets that will help to fuel your success in the dog hotel business.

Can I own more than one unit?
Yes! Many Camp Bow Wow franchise owners have more than one Camp. In fact, 46% of Camp Bow Wow franchises are owned by multi-unit owners!
What services are offered by Camp Bow Wow?
Our core services offered at all Camp Bow Wows are Day Care, Overnight Boarding, and Basic Grooming. Full Service Grooming and Dog Training services are offered on a location-by-location basis.
