Pet parents today consider their pups to be one of their children (if not their only child) and are willing to do what it takes to make their dog happy. Because of this change in thinking, pet parents spare no expense when it comes to their dog’s health and wellness.

Year Over Year Growth

According to the American Pet Products Association (APPA), the average annual growth rate since 2002 is 5.4%. Not to mention, revenue has been growing steadily for well over 20 years.

And according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, above-average job growth is expected for the industry – 11% growth between 2014 and 2024.
