“I've come to Camp Bow Wow to board my 80-lb Native American Indian/German Shepherd mix dog for some years now. They have always had boarding space for him even in last-minute cases. They have been understanding and prepared on the rare occasion when I haven't been able to pick him up on time due to my flight or other travel delays. They follow my feeding and medication instructions to the letter. They are sticklers for making sure my dog is up to date on all his vaccinations, which I appreciate. Everyone at the front desk, as well as those who come to the front to get my dog or to bring him to me, seems to know my dog and seems genuinely delighted and welcoming when he arrives. He is a reactive dog and has issues with strangers/new people, but we haven't gotten any reports of any issues with him interacting with anyone. I've rarely asked them to do any grooming, but when I have, they've done well, especially considering he's a large, double-coated breed dog, who absolutely hates being futzed with and can be a bit much to deal with. When I pick him up, it seems as if he doesn't really want to leave. When he arrives home, he is tired (and happy) from playing with other dog friends.”
