“My favorite thing(s) about camp:
My dogs get super excited every time I turn to go in the parking lot. So I know they must love coming here. They get to be dogs! And not "watch" mom all day. They are cattle dogs so they have lots of energy, going to camp helps get some of that out on days when I'm working and don't have the time to entertain them. It also helps socialize them to different dogs and people, especially our female who tends to have issues with strangers. This helps her get used to seeing new people, and gets her over her fears of people. Everyone at the Clarkston Campbowwow is just wonderful with both my dogs, and has been very patient and understanding with my anxious female. I don't know how we would of gotten thru the first year with her, without them. She was a tough rescue, no fault of her own. ”
