Spike has been chosen as this week's "Camper of the Week" at Camp Bow Wow Rochester the week of June 4th, 2012.
Spike is an adorable Havanese that has been coming to Camp for years. He has a friendly, goofy, happy-go-lucky personality and we are ALWAYS excited to see his face in the Play Yards. In his down time Spike is a therapy dog visiting facilities in the area and lifting spirits. His best friends at Camp are Lola the Shih Tzu, Bo an Australian Labradoodle, and of course any Counselor who is good for a cuddle!
Apollo and Elektra have been chosen as this week's "Campers of the Week" at Camp Bow Wow Rochester the week of May 28th, 2012.
Apollo, an Australian Shepard and his little sister Elektra, a Bichon Frise are an adorable sibling duo who have a blast at Camp. Apollo is a bundle of energy and is always running and romping with his friends. Elektra was a little slower warming up to Camp at first but now bounces around, is quick to snuggle with the Counselors, and now even cools off her feet in our puppy pools on hot days! Although they spend their day in separate Play Yards, Apollo with the bigger dogs and and Elektra with her smaller friends, once in a while they are caught saying hello at the fence before rejoining their friends!
Finnegan has been chosen as this week's "Camper of the Week" at Camp Bow Wow Rochester the week of May 21st, 2012.
Finnegan is a Newfoundland who, believe it or not, is only about a year and a half old! When he lumbers into Camp he is welcomed by the Counselors and his many many doggie friends. His size and good looks turn heads everywhere he goes and he is quite the celebrity here at Camp, with people always asking “Who is that big brown dog I saw on the webcam?!” All the ladies at Camp fall in love with Finnegan and he loves to play with his best friend Fiona, the Doberman Pinscher. Finnegan is as big and as gentle as they come and we love having him here at Camp!
Lucy has been chosen as this week's "Camper of the Week" at Camp Bow Wow Rochester the week of May 14th, 2012.
Lucy is a Soft Coated Wheaton Terrier who is always tap dancing around. We love having Lucy here for Day Camp and couldn’t believe our luck when she came in for an extended sleepover! She can usually be found jumping three feet vertically in the air or nuzzling up to the Counselors. She plays wonderfully with all of the dogs but really likes to hang out with her best friend Lyle, the Corgi, and Baxter a super small, super cute, Rat Terrier mix.
Chloe has been chosen as this week's "Camper of the Week" at Camp Bow Wow Rochester the week of May 7th, 2012.
Chloe is our “baby Bouvier” here at Camp and is an adorable and good natured Bouvies des Flandres. She started at Camp as a true puppy, but it wasn’t long before she graduated from the little pup Play Yard to the big guys! Being the sweetheart she is, Chloe is quick to make friends with everybody at Camp but does have her favorites. She ...loves wrestling with Buddha, a Boxer, however he is a distant second to her boyfriend Monty, the English Bulldog. Monty and Chloe are inseperable when at Camp. He follows her around with stars in his eyes and we think he is going to ask her to go steady any day now! We are just as crazy about our little, fluffy Chloe and just love watching her grow and play at Camp!
Samson has been chosen as this week's "Camper of the Week" at Camp Bow Wow Rochester the week of April 30th, 2012.
Samson is an adorable six month old Beagle who just started coming to Camp a few months ago. He is always full of energy, running around, wrestling with his friends, and generally being the life of the party! His best friends at Camp are Baxter the Rat Terrier and basically anyone who can keep up with him. As quickly as he zips around the play yards he will jump into the arms of any Counselor, not missing an oppurtunity for a hug! There is never a dull moment when Samson is around and its for that reason why we love seeing him here at Camp!
Teddy and Toula have been chosen as this week's "Campers of the Week" at Camp Bow Wow Rochester the week of April 23rd, 2012.
Teddy and Toula are Yellow Lab siblings that are life of the party here at Camp. With their different, yet equally lovable personalities, we love when we get the chance to spend the day with them. Teddy’s best friends at Camp are Buddha the Boxer, a former “Camper of the Week,” Shields, a Curly-Coated Retriever and of course all of the Counselors. Toula’s favorite past time is chewing through her brother’s collar at lightning speed when she thinks noone is looking and playing with her best friends Lexie, Aspen and Hunny.
Quincy was chosen as “Camper of the Week” at Camp Bow Wow Rochester the week of April 16th, 2012.
Quincy is a crazy man around Camp! He loves getting belly rubs from the Counselors and acting like a noisy neighbor, barking at the other dogs when excited. Next to belly rubs, his favorite thing at Camp is a big plastic blue ball, which he faithfully chases around the play yard. His best friend at Camp is Leonardo, a lab mix. We love having crazy Quincy here at Camp!
Buddha was chosen as “Camper of the Week” at Camp Bow Wow Rochester the week of April 9th, 2012.
Buddha is a lucky boy, as we are always rubbing his belly for good luck! With his good looks, Buddha always manages to melt the hearts of Campers and Counselors alike. When he is not receiving belly rubs he can be seen running around and wrestling with all of his friends at Camp. His best friend is Devo, the German Shepard, and he loves giving kisses to Chloe, the Bouvier des Flandres. He is our lovable good luck charm!
April was chosen as “Camper of the Week” at Camp Bow Wow Rochester the week of April 2nd, 2012.
April, is our happy-go-lucky wiggle worm here at Camp. Whether it is romping with her friends, running around the play yards until her paws are sore, or pouncing on the Counselors, April is always moving. She is known for her kisses and never misses an opportunity to be welcomed into a Counselor’s lap. Her best friends at Camp are Leo, a Labrador Retriever mix and Brady, a Silky Terrier.
Biggie was chosen as “Camper of the Week” at Camp Bow Wow Rochester the week of March 26th 2012.
Biggie is Camp’s resident “bad boy,” loved by the staff and dogs alike. He is a bundle of energy and has a blast running around with all of his friends when at Camp. At home, Biggie is “houdini,” capable of breaking out of the most secure crates - just about anything to get back to Camp! It is for these reasons that Biggie’s mom entered him in Camp Bow Wow’s “Bad to the Bone” contest, awarding the country’s most mischevious dog with a year of free Camp Bow Wow and Home Buddies services. You can vote for Biggie by visiting Camp Bow Wow’s corporate Facebook page!
